Ravings from a Diseased Outpost, Day 2
There will be no Black Friday for us. It's Day 2 of looneyness here at Chez RocketScience. Somehow I managed to acquire a lovely case of bronchitis, which I shared with my other half. I'm on about Day 5, since I wrote it off as "being tired" and waited 4 days before going to the doctor-who noted my pajamas and audible breathing and handed me my antibiotics. The other half came home with a touch of "ickyness" last night.
How sick have I been?
Too sick to knit on my Jaywalker socks (that's Opal #17 Handpaint):
Or finish the second Christmas glove:
Or work on Yorick:
Or knit/purl on my shawl. That's right, it's too much to purl these days.
I did finish a Christmas scarf, pre-illness.
And there are a couple other scarves that have been done for a bit-the green one comes from Handknit Holidays, the other is just plain garter stitch.
So I'm home, on the couch, watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Up next is Madagascar.
Happy Thanksgiving. We'll be having soup and gatorade.

Hope you all feel better soon --- the Jaywalker looks great!
