Chaos in Cosmos
The final finished object of 2005:
- Pattern: Chaos
- Source: Knitty
- Yarn: Peace Fleece Worsted from kpixie, colour hemlock poashja
- Needle: #6 and #4 Addi
- Modification: 2 Buttons, not 3 on the collar
- Finished: December 26th, 2005
- Notes: I'm still confused a bit about the yarn called for in the pattern as opposed to the gauge. I couldn't get worsted to knit at 6 stitches per inch in pattern at any gauge, how the heck would one get HEAVY worsted to do so? As for the cable pattern, let the kiddo roll the dice for the first couple of times, but then realize you'll need 800+ dice rolls for the largest size. I used an online roller, which allowed me to "roll" twenty four-sided dice, twenty times. It then printed out the results in a nice block for me which I could carry around to knit in the car, at a concert, on the plane, on the train, etc. This one from Irony is what I used. As for the Peace Fleece, I'd never knit with it before. It was a bit rough on my hands and had some veggie matter contained within. I washed and blocked the sleeves out, which softened it up nicely. I didn't have a chance for the body pre-finishing, so I gave it a good swirl in LUSH Veganese conditioner (absolutely no Lanolin whatsoever!) afterwards and hung over the radiator to dry. I think it turned out lovely. So did Josh.
The next question...did I finish Blu?

That sweater is a work of art! Beautiful I say!

That's gorgeous. The cables really "pop".

I so want to knit this and your came out stunning! I think I have enough fiber to make one for one of my kids...time to go through the stash.

That is an incredible sweater! I love it! I would love to be it too and be bathed in LUSH head to toe. When I say you have started an addiction for me, that is a huge understatement.
