Is this thing on?
It is hard to write when you have a million things to say and no words to say them with. I keep finding myself with lots of things I want to discuss with the world, but a complete inabililty to put them into words-and not just with the blog. Even tonight, I want to write an email to a friend, more as a cry for help than a “hey how you doing”, but once again, I can’t find the words.
Where to start? When we last left the blog back in May, I was puking up my toenails. Nothing has changed there. L
In fact, this is the result:
One should note, I wore a size 16 to Thanksgiving dinner.
The pain has continued. To the point that I’m hitting a wall with finding coping mechanisms. You know you are having a rough day when eight skeins of koigu doesn’t cheer you up!
So I’m looking for words. I’m looking for a way to cope. I’m starting to lose hope. And koigu doesn’t even excite me. What else can I say?
Since this is a knitting blog, I’m way behind on my sockapalooza socks. They won’t be going in the mail on Thursday. One is done, the other just a toe. Perhaps tomorrow in jury duty I’ll make some progress. I love Sock Hop yarn. I hope my pal isn’t disappointed that I used a rather basic pattern to showcase the yarn. Oh, and speaking of the pattern, what gives on a stretchy bindoff? I tried the EZ sewn bindoff and I’m still not sure that it works. Suggestions??
Thanks for listening to me ramble.
